I really liked Hayley, which reminded me of Bridget Jones, and I also really liked Nico, a sort of italian Marc Darcy, always there for Hayley, even if she didn't realize it at first. But will Hayley be able to keep things casual? And is a casual relationship what Nico wants?Ripped is a small book but the story is very funny and also very hot. So when Nico shows up in her place at Christmas Day and volunteers as her present, Haley decides to put her resolution in practice sooner. But when Haley is expecting to be reprimanded, she's surprised with a kiss so smoldering it may very well melt what's left of her dress.Haley needs a change in her life and she decides that her new years resolution is to only have one night stands. And it's Nico who takes her away from there, wrapped in his coat. Because the dress is so tight, it ends up ripping from the seams and Haley ends up flashing her boobs in front of the whole church. It couldn't possibly get any worse, right? Wrong. Being the maid of honor at your ex-boyfriend's wedding with her ex-friend (who betrayed her with each other), stuck in a horrible and tight dress and having to endure the despising looks of Nico Rossi, the groom's best man who has always hated her.
